I am a trained and externally accredited meditation teacher who trained with the British School of Meditation and also a trained Cacao guide.
I first started meditating a number of years ago after leaving a very full on job. I was quite stressed out and if I’m honest I was feeling a little desperate and came to meditation as a last resort and, if I’m more honest, I was a little bit sceptical. I was unsure how sitting quietly for a few minutes could make any difference. I tried a three minute meditation and instantly knew that it was for me. I felt a little calmer and a little less agitated so decided to continue and I’m so glad I did!
The main reason I meditate is to take time out to calm my thoughts and also to enable me to have more of control over my anxiety. I find meditation very calming, it also helps me to be more present and live in the moment.
I undertook my training to be a Cacao guide in 2023 and have loved bringing this special medicine to people, it’s such an honour and I’d love to share it with you.
Having accessible classes both in terms of price and content is really important to me, this ethos is at the heart of all I do.
